Course FAQ

  • I recommend completing the training in 8 weeks, but you’ll have access to the course for a lifetime so you can go at your own pace. The course consists of 5 modules with several lessons inside each module. Each lesson will take around 20 minutes (or less) to finish.

  • No, the course is a one-time payment of $297, which gives you lifetime access to the course modules, challenges, and downloadable resources. Because the course is a training specific to middle management, your organization may be willing to pay the cost out of your department’s professional development budget. This is something to ask your manager about.

  • The goal of this course is to give you the training and resources to feel confident in your role and empowered to lead your team. How you implement this training is up to you. However, if you follow the steps I give you and use the resources regularly, you will grow as a leader .

At the beginning of the course you'll set growth goals. These are things you want to learn or work toward during the course. At the end of our time together we'll pull those goals out and see how far you've come.

Ultimately your success will be measured in the feedback you receive from others. You’ll also see success in how you manage time, set and stick to boundaries, handle conflict and more.

  • The Good Manager was created for managers who already have direct reports. However I do plan to release a course for potential and brand new managers in the future. Stay tuned!

  • Both! Some of the tips and tools I reference throughout the training are well-known in business industries. However the GoalBlitz Framework and the P.I.M.M. Method are proprietary content that I crafted and modeled during my years of leading teams.

  • When you join The Good Manager you’ll have access to The Good Manager Community on Facebook. This is a safe space where you can ask questions, receive coaching and share situations that you may want help with.
